Bourton-on-the-water 10K
A very cold, sunny and windy Bourton 10K. I was pleased to secure a place for this race that I was told gets full very quickly. I wasn’t sure how it would go and knowing me I’d start off too quick. It is a fast course and one for PBs. There were two laps around the village, then out along the Rissington Road turning at 5.5km, then back in with a final 3/4 lap around the village.
I thought it was a great race, really enjoyed it, lots of support at the end and very well organised. And yes, a PB 50m55 (3mins faster than the New Years Day 10k) – that marathon training is working!
