Beginners Course

Our next Beginners’ Course starts on Tuesday 18 April from 5.30pm to 6.15pm and will run for 8 weeks. The last session is on 6 June. The location is Stratford Park, meeting in front of the Museum in the Park. We will provide a structured, graded course that will take people from ‘couch to 5k’.  The course is suitable for people who have never run before and want to give it a try, or for runners who have taken a break for a while.  As well as the Tuesday sessions, all participants will receive guidance about how to improve fitness (including how to build more exercise into their busy lives) and how to avoid injury.

The cost is £8, payable in advance. Any runner who joins the club on completing the course will have the fee refunded from the annual subscription.
